WELCOME TO THE TEXAS ROOM

Texas 2026 — and the Road Beyond

This is where everything connected to Texas politics and elections will live.

Every statewide race.
Every Texas congressional race we cover.
Every state legislative race.
Every judicial race.
Every county office.
Every school board.
Every local district.
Every constitutional amendment.
Every ballot measure.
Every candidate report card.
Every Superuser voting article.
And every future Texas political post published on this site.

IF IT HAS TO DO WITH TEXAS POLITICS, IT SHOULD EVENTUALLY BE FINDABLE HERE.

This is the permanent Texas civic room inside the larger national politics project.

WHY THIS ROOM EXISTS

Texas politics should not require someone to search across dozens of pages and websites just to understand a ballot.

This room will become one organized place where a voter can understand the office, the candidate, the record, the ballot, and the decision.

The purpose is not merely to archive articles.

The purpose is to make the political system navigable.

ONE STATE. ONE ROOM. EVERY POLITICAL SEAT.

FIRST STATEWIDE ROOM — GOVERNOR OF TEXAS

First statewide room

Governor of Texas

The Governor office room is the first destination in the Texas archive. The office explainer, candidate profiles, voter response, candidate answers, score updates, and final Superuser decision will collect here as they are published.

OPEN THE GOVERNOR ROOM

TEXAS 2026 BALLOT

Each office below is a permanent container for explainers, candidate profiles, report cards, responses, interviews, score updates, decisions, and later accountability articles.

Texas has its own structure. The Secretary of State is appointed by the Governor rather than elected statewide, so it is not presented here as a ballot office. Texas voters instead elect offices including the Comptroller, Land Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner, statewide judges, legislators, and education-board members.

EVERY CANDIDATE LEAVES A RECORD.

EVERY OFFICE HAS REAL POWER.

EVERY VOTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND BOTH.

HOW THE TEXAS REPORT CARDS WORK

Every candidate report-card article preserves a three-part model:

SUPERUSER RESEARCH / PROVISIONAL VIEW

VOTER SCORE / VOTER RESPONSE

CANDIDATE RESPONSE / SELF-ASSESSMENT

The Texas room organizes the material. The individual reports hold the research, evidence, scores, challenges, and responses.

MORE TEXAS ARTICLES

ALL TEXAS POLITICAL ARTICLES

This library is ready. Every future Texas political article marked for Texas will collect here.

This library is the canonical human-facing index for Texas politics on OmarArizona.com. Every Governor post, statewide-office report, Texas congressional article, judicial post, constitutional amendment, election update, candidate report card, and final decision should return here.

THE OFFICE IS EXPLAINED.

THE RECORD IS OPENED.

THE CANDIDATE CAN ANSWER.

THE VOTER DECIDES.
