WELCOME TO THE MINNESOTA ROOM
Minnesota 2026 — and the Road Beyond
This is where everything connected to Minnesota politics and elections will live.
Every statewide race.
Every Minnesota congressional race we cover.
Every state legislative race.
Every judicial race.
Every county office.
Every city and township office.
Every school board.
Every special district.
Every constitutional amendment.
Every local ballot question.
Every candidate report card.
Every Superuser voting article.
And every future Minnesota political post published on this site.
IF IT HAS TO DO WITH MINNESOTA POLITICS, IT SHOULD EVENTUALLY BE FINDABLE HERE.
This is the permanent Minnesota civic room inside the larger national politics project.
WHY THIS ROOM EXISTS
Minnesota politics should not require someone to search across dozens of pages and websites just to understand a ballot.
This room will become one organized place where a voter can understand the office, the candidate, the record, the ballot, and the decision.
The purpose is not merely to archive articles.
The purpose is to make the political system navigable.
ONE STATE. ONE ROOM. EVERY POLITICAL SEAT.
FIRST STATEWIDE ROOM — GOVERNOR & LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR
First statewide room
Governor & Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota
Minnesota elects the Governor and Lieutenant Governor jointly. Their office room is the first destination in the Minnesota archive, ready for explainers, candidate profiles, voter response, candidate answers, score updates, and the final Superuser decision.
OPEN THE GOVERNOR ROOMMINNESOTA 2026 BALLOT
Each office below is a permanent container for explainers, candidate profiles, report cards, responses, interviews, score updates, decisions, and later accountability articles.
Minnesota has its own structure. The Governor and Lieutenant Governor are elected jointly. Minnesota voters also elect the Secretary of State, State Auditor, Attorney General, legislators, and judicial officers. The 2026 ballot includes a statewide constitutional amendment as well as federal, county, municipal, township, school-board, special-district, and local-question contests.
EVERY CANDIDATE LEAVES A RECORD.
EVERY OFFICE HAS REAL POWER.
EVERY VOTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND BOTH.
HOW THE MINNESOTA REPORT CARDS WORK
Every candidate report-card article preserves a three-part model:
SUPERUSER RESEARCH / PROVISIONAL VIEW
VOTER SCORE / VOTER RESPONSE
CANDIDATE RESPONSE / SELF-ASSESSMENT
The Minnesota room organizes the material. The individual reports hold the research, evidence, scores, challenges, and responses.
