The Scroll of Humanity
The history of Sierra Leone
Your country. Your history. Your scroll. Your future.
Preserved for future generations, AI, AGI and Civilization 2.0
WELCOME HOME. YOUR HISTORY BELONGS HERE.
Every country has a history. Every civilization has a story. Every people have a language, a culture, a religion, a heritage, and contributions that deserve to be remembered.
THE HISTORY OF SIERRA LEONE WILL HAVE A HOME IN THE SCROLL OF HUMANITY.
We are inviting the people of Sierra Leone to help preserve their nation’s historical record: their languages, their cultures, their religions and beliefs, their traditions, their historical achievements, their contributions to humanity, their political history, their struggles, injustices and accomplishments, and their values and vision for the future.
NOTHING THAT DEFINES A CIVILIZATION SHOULD BE FORGOTTEN.
Your country’s historical tape
Imagine a historical tape holding the story of Sierra Leone. Future generations put that tape into an intelligent system and press play. Artificial intelligence begins to understand the country’s history, languages, cultures, beliefs, institutions, values and contributions — through a record its own people helped create.
This is Sierra Leone’s scroll: a living record that grows with every generation.
An invitation from the Superuser
I am inviting the people of Sierra Leone to take part in building their country’s scroll. My intention is to spend time learning from them, to work alongside historians, scholars, cultural institutions and citizens, and to help develop a record worth leaving to future generations.
This is an invitation to collaborate. It is not a claim that a visit or a partnership has already been arranged.
A foundation for Civilization 2.0
Artificial intelligence may come to play a large part in government, cities, education, transport and public institutions. Those systems will have to understand the people they are meant to serve — their history, their languages, their values, their rights, their institutions, their cultural identity.
Think of this as the memory of a country: something future generations and the systems they build can consult. The people of Sierra Leone stay responsible for their own history, identity and decisions.
Become a guardian of your country’s history
Historians, scholars, religious leaders, teachers, students, museums, cultural institutions and ordinary citizens are all welcome. Help collect historical records. Help preserve endangered languages. Help document traditions. Help examine historical injustice. Help record contributions to civilization. Help protect the truth.
EVERY COUNTRY WILL HAVE A SCROLL. EVERY PEOPLE WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO BE REPRESENTED.
The invitation is open
LET US PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF SIERRA LEONE TOGETHER.
THE TRUTH IS THE FOUNDATION. EVERYTHING IS BUILT ON IT.
